YouTuber Ducky Bhai Sent to Jail on Judicial Remand for Two Weeks
LAHORE: Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saadur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has been sent to jail on judicial remand for 14 days in a case linked to the alleged promotion of online gambling and betting applications.
Arrest and Court Proceedings
Ducky Bhai was arrested last month at Lahore airport by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). He was produced before a local court on Monday, where the authorities requested an extension in his physical remand for further investigation.
However, the court rejected NCCIA’s plea and instead ordered a two-week judicial remand, sending the YouTuber to jail.
In the past two weeks, Ducky Bhai’s physical remand had been extended multiple times:
